Oculoplastic surgery focuses on the repair, reconstruction, and rejuvenation of various parts of the eye including the sockets, eyelids, tear ducts, and surrounding areas of the face.
Oculoplastic surgery can be performed to remove tumors around the eye and tear duct obstructions, repair droopy eyelids, or for cosmetic reasons.
